Car­rières de lumières des baux de Provence

Anoth­er inter­est­ing day trip in the Arles area – the Car­rières de Lumières. It is a vast under­ground stone quar­ry that was closed 80 years ago because it could not keep up with steel and con­crete as build­ing mate­ri­als.
It revives now as a giant show room for a full immer­sion in art and music.
We man­aged to catch the last days of the Van Gogh show. It was amaz­ing!
