Biking Fun
Our “Green Provence” is ideally located amongst low shady forest hills with a dense network of quiet roads connecting picturesque sites and villages. We are the perfect starting place for a variety of pleasant biking routes. As e‑bikes are ever more popular and particularly comfortable for rides on- or off-road we have installed a unique solar-power loading station. 6 to 7 bikes can be charged simultaneously under its shade. An experienced local guide is available to take small groups on discovery tours. Bikes’ rental and delivery is easily organized as well as minor maintenance and repairs.
Horseback riding in Provence
Caroline, an experienced rider, shows you around, on a horse or pony the flora and the secret corners of the forest. The safety outfits are available on the spot. Kids can learn riding during thematic afternoons. Your horse can also enjoy a vacation close to you in a spacious paddock.
A dinner of Mediterranean specialties are proposed three times a week in the large farm kitchen or under the stars in the cool patio or in the garden. Cooking classes, garden workshops or introduction to the traditional art of quilting can be organized for small groups on demand.
The village of Bras is within a three-minute car ride. It has fresh bread daily, a good butcher, a grocery and on Sundays, a tiny street market. To enjoy a real Provence market, one should not miss Saturdays in Brignoles or Wednesdays in Saint-Maximin, both 15 minutes by car from our place. In the same radius of 15–20 minutes drive, one can play tennis, golf or ride horses. The nicest beaches are 45 minutes away.
A large private pool is available to the guests (under the strict condition that children are always supervised by parents). A large sunbathing area with deck chairs encloses its 16×6 meters basin. A shaded open kitchen with pizza oven, tables and baby-foot brings a pleasant alternative to those saturated with water and sun.
Walking & Golf & Bike Riding
Short or half day hiking within the estate are possible without crossing any roads. From the top of the hills, one discovers the famous mountain Sainte-Victoire and the snow-capped Alps. A warm pool could be much appreciated after an intense jog, bike ride or simply the long journey on the road. Close by Golf club and course in Barbaroux in Brignoles and Sainte Baume golf club france in Nans les Pins – Saint Maximin St.Baume. Bike rental is possible.
Numerous isolated spots in the gardens invite for reading, dreaming or a nap. A library, a lounge and cool courtyard, the old cellar with hi-fi sound and home cinema setup will please all cultural needs..
